ABOUT THE LABEL I`M VEGAN

I'M VEGAN is a trademarked vegan label from Djurens Rätt. Our fake tattoos fall under the same legislation as all cosmetics and for us, it has always been natural that our products do not contain any animal ingredients and that the product has not undergone any animal testing at any stage. We have conducted dermatological tests ourselves (tests on humans). The I'M VEGAN label clearly shows our customers that the product is vegan and approved by Djurens Rätt.

AREN`T ALL FAKE TATTOOS VEGAN?

Temporary tattoos can contain non-vegan ingredients in the adhesive used to attach the tattoo to the skin. For example, the adhesive can contain gelatin, which is made from animal bones or skin. It is also common for both the adhesive and the ink to contain animal-derived waxes, with the most common being beeswax. Additionally, the ink used in rub-on tattoos can contain animal ingredients such as carmine, which is made from crushed beetles.

Although not all temporary tattoos are vegan, there are many vegan alternatives available on the market. It is important to read the ingredients carefully and look for products labeled as vegan or cruelty-free to avoid supporting the animal testing industry. Another common reason why fake tattoos are not vegan is that they have been tested on animals.

ABOUT NATURSKYDDSFÖRENINGEN

Environment has always been important to us at Like Ink, and collaborating with and supporting Naturskyddsföreningen together with our customers feels incredibly enjoyable and good. In 2023, Like Ink became a supporting company for Naturskyddsföreningen, which means that we donate a fixed amount of money to them every year, in addition to donating 30% of all the revenue generated by the sheets of temporary tattoos with Naturskyddsföreningen's name.
