Words from the illustrator: Animal motifs and images of animals are something that interests many people and are fun to look at, so I enjoyed every second as I searched for inspiration for my tattoo designs in collaboration with Djurens Rätt.
All the hours resulted in a few favorites that I felt I wanted to sketch out with my own twist, and in some cases, the results were as crazy as I wanted! Some of the animals got accessories to express their personalities, and my personal favorite is the cool duck on a skateboard because you might think it’s made up when it’s actually a real picture taken with a duckling on a skateboard!
My style is often minimalist with straight and simple lines that still express a lot. And I think it’s actually the simplicity that makes the whole thing. In this collaboration, it was enough to work with small means to achieve creative results, where the collaboration between me as an artist, Like Ink, and Djurens Rätt actually allows us all to contribute and support something we all stand for – Animal rights.
