Check your spam folder first. Can’t find it? Email info@likeink.se with your name and we’ll help you.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes! We deliver pretty much all over the world
Can I get my own custom design on the tattoo?
Yes, that’s exactly our thing at Like Ink. We offer custom “real fake tattoos”, i.e. temporary tattoos. You upload your image in our uploader.
Which file formats work in your uploader for custom tattoo designs?
We recommend PNG or JPEG/JPG for the best result.
White in the image becomes transparent on the skin.
Do I need to mirror the design?
No, we handle that automatically! Just upload the image the way you want it to look.
What size are the sheets?
All sheets are A5 size (148 × 210 mm).
The printable area is 195 × 130 mm.
We can also, on request, print custom sizes for the tattoos and cut the tattoos individually.
How many tattoos do I get per sheet?
That depends on how large you want your tattoos to be and also how much margin there is around the design you upload. A good size is 4 × 4 cm, which gives 12 tattoos on one A5 sheet.
How big or small can a tattoo be?
Smallest design: approx. 1 cm.
Maximum size on an A5 sheet: 195 × 130 mm (the entire print area).
On request, we can produce larger formats.
Can I place several designs on one sheet?
Of course! Create a collage with your images (for example in Canva) and upload it as a single file.
Choose maximum width in the uploader to fill the sheet.
Can you help with the design?
For larger volumes and depending on our current workload – absolutely! Email your request to info@likeink.se.
What resolution should the image have?
For crisp print quality we recommend 300 dpi. The better the quality, the better the result. A rule of thumb: if the image looks blurry, then it is blurry.
There are many free services where you can increase your image resolution online. Search for “increase image resolution” on Google.
How much does one sheet cost?
One A5 sheet costs 12 € incl. VAT.
We offer volume discounts – the more tattoos you order, the better the price.
Can I order as a company, authority, municipality or advertising agency?
Yes, of course! We invoice according to your needs and send quotes. We have very good prices on larger volumes, high quality on the tattoos and fast delivery. As a company you can also feel totally safe knowing our tattoos are allergy-friendly and comply with all legislation. As an agency you can also order through us and resell to your own clients.
Do you offer business pricing for temporary tattoos?
Yes. Send your request to info@likeink.se or use the quote form in the webshop. We probably have the best prices in relation to quality and delivery time in Europe.
What is included in the price?
Printing, packaging and free shipping over 25 €.
Below that, a shipping fee of 6 € is added.
Which payment methods do you offer?
We use Klarna (card, direct payment, installment, invoice).

Do you print white, metallic or neon?
Yes, via special printing with a partner (minimum 500 pcs/design).
Delivery time approx. 14 days. Email us for a quote.
Are the tattoos vegan and safe?

Ingredients and suppliers are approved by Djurens Rätt – I’M VEGAN.
We comply with the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009).
Are they safe for children?

How do I apply the tattoo?
1. Cut out the design as close to the edge as possible.
2. Remove the protective film.
3. Place the design against clean, dry skin.
4. Press with a wet sponge for about 20 seconds.
5. Gently lift the paper – done!
Instructions are included in the envelope.
How long do your tattoos last?
Usually 2–5 days, depending on placement and skin type.
Avoid showering directly after application and do not rub the tattoo.
How do I make the tattoo last longer?
Apply on clean, dry and hair-free skin.
Avoid skin folds, oils, lotions and friction.
Clothes that rub or dust can shorten durability.
For more tips, check out Like Ink’s Instagram.
How do I remove the tattoo?
Wash with soap, oil (baby oil, shower oil or cooking oil) and warm water.
You can also put a piece of tape over the tattoo and pull it off. (party trick)
How do I get rid of the shine on a temporary tattoo?
The shine often disappears after a few hours. If you want to remove it immediately, you can gently dab hand sanitizer or perfume – but keep in mind that this can shorten the durability. You can also mattify the tattoo by applying baby powder.
What happens to white areas in my image?
White is not printed – it becomes transparent on the skin.
If you want light areas, use a light grey or beige tone.
Do you print everything that appears in the image?
Yes. If you do not want a background, remove it before uploading (for example using remove.bg).
Can I send a photo?
Yes! Upload the image as usual – we’ll turn your photo into a tattoo.
Can you change colors or layout?
Generally not for small orders, but email us and we’ll see what’s possible.
Can you enlarge my image without it becoming blurry?
Use an online service that increases the resolution. Not sure? Email us the image and we’ll help you.
Do you print in RGB or CMYK?
We print in CMYK, which can cause small color differences compared to screen display (RGB).
Can you print in gold/silver or neon?
Yes – as special printing via a partner. Minimum 500 pcs/design, delivery approx. 14 days.
Will the design be mirrored on the skin?
No. We automatically mirror it for printing. You just upload the image the way you want it.
I can’t upload my file – what do I do?
Check that your image is in JPEG or PNG format. Try refreshing the page, clearing your cache or using incognito mode. Still not working? Email the image to info@likeink.se.
What file size can I upload?
Up to 25 MB works fine. Is your file larger? Save it in a smaller size or email it to us. Check it.

What does resolution mean?
The resolution (dpi) shows how much detail an image has. For print, the image should be at least 300 dpi in the size you want to use. Low resolution makes the image blurry or pixelated.
How to check the resolution:
On a computer: Right-click → Properties → Details → “Resolution” or “Image size”.
Online: https://www.imgonline.com.ua/eng/get-image-size.php
Tips
If the image becomes blurry when you zoom in = the resolution is too low.
If the image is still sharp and clear when you zoom in, it’s probably fine for print.
Very small files (under 300 KB) are often not good enough.

We print the entire image you upload, including any white background – which then becomes transparent. The visible design (the tattoo) will probably end up smaller than you expect. If you want the tattoo to follow the shape of the design – crop away the background!
How to crop an image:
iLoveIMG: https://www.iloveimg.com/crop-image
Canva: Click the image → Crop → adjust → Done.
Photopea: Select the area → Image → Crop.
If your design has a white or colored background, it needs to be removed – otherwise that background will also be printed. We print everything that is visible in the image, including “white background”.
Free tools to remove the entire background
https://www.remove.bg/ – super easy!
https://www.iloveimg.com/remove-background – quick and free.
https://www.photopea.com/ – more advanced but completely free.
Always save as PNG after removing the background, so you keep the transparency.
Want to write text and print it as a tattoo? Easy!
How to do it
In Canva: Create a design → Text → choose font and color → Download as PNG (with transparent background).
In Photopea: Write the text with the Text tool (T) → File → Export → PNG.
In iLoveIMG: Go to https://www.iloveimg.com/photo-editor to add text to an image directly online.
Do you want to combine text and image, for example a logo with text underneath? Here are easy ways to do it for free:
Canva
1.Upload your image.
2. Click Text → write your text.
3. Drag the text to where you want it (on top of or next to the image).
4. Download as PNG (transparent background).
Photopea
1. Open the image → choose the Text tool (T).
2. Type your text → move it where you want it.
3. File → Export → PNG.
iLoveIMG
1. Go to https://www.iloveimg.com/photo-editor
2. Upload your image.
3. Add text, adjust size, color, and position.
4. Download as JPEG or PNG.
We do not print white. White areas in your image will be transparent.
Light colors will also appear more transparent on the skin.
Tips for clarity:
Use colors with at least 30–40% black (K) in CMYK or similar darkness in grayscale.
Avoid very light pastels – they can disappear on the skin.
Test by placing the image on a skin-colored background in an editing program on your computer before uploading – can you see it clearly? Then it will probably work well.
We can, on request, print white tattoos, minimum order quantity is 500 pcs.
We only accept image files: PNG or JPEG (JPG).
Files that do not work:
– PDF
– Do not upload screenshots – they are often low resolution.
– Do not use images taken directly from social media (they are compressed).
– Word
– PowerPoint
– AI (Adobe Illustrator)
– EPS
– SVG
– PSD (Photoshop)
– HEIC (iPhone format)
– WebP (new web format – re-save as PNG or JPEG)
Tip
You can easily convert these using https://www.iloveimg.com/convert-to-jpg
Want to create a tattoo completely by yourself with paper and pen? Here’s how to get a digital image ready for print:
1. Draw on white paper with a black pen or marker (avoid pencil – it looks weak).
2. Photograph or scan the drawing in good light.
3. Preferably use daylight, and make sure the paper fills the whole image.
4. Straight edges: Crop the image so only the drawing is visible. https://www.iloveimg.com/crop-image
5. Remove the background so only the black design remains. https://www.remove.bg/
6. Save the image as PNG (for transparent background) or JPEG if you want to keep a white background.
Done! Now you can upload your hand-drawn design to Like Ink.
Tip
If you want to add color, do it in e.g. https://www.photopea.com/ after you’ve removed the background.
